This is the prototype for a steamer trunk I created for a commission. It was the first time I’d used a Dado stack (think an up to inch thick saw blade on the table saw) which allows you to create rabbets and dado cuts (all of them, Andrew, Cameron and Lachie). It’s frame and panel construction and an almost uniquely American approach to wood working.
